I teach… GROSS UND KLEIN TANZEN (AGE 1.5 - 4) for children and parents, BABY, LET'S DANCE (from neonate to 18 months) for parents and babies, KREATIVER KINDERTANZ (4+) for children and BODY-MIND CENTERING® AND DANCE for adults.

I dance because… it has always been my main form of communicating and expressing for myself and others. I had the chance in the dance school where I was as a kid to develop freely my own movement language, and much space was needed! Since then I understood how supportive and beneficial this practice since the age of 3 has influenced my life and ways of seeing the world, relating to people.

I pay special attention to… repetitions, rhythms and patterns, which are present when we dance freely, without thinking so much about what we are showing. What does it tell from me, my past, my genealogy and life circumstances?

This song always gets me moving… Drumming, Steve Reich

Has had a special influence on me… somatic dance practices such as the work of Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen who created Body-Mind Centering®, contemporary dance choreographers from the 90’s in France such as Maguy Marin or Boris Charmatz, post-modern dance in United States with the practices of Barbara Dilley and in general all the lineages which appeared from initiators like Anna Halprin and Judson Dance Theater. I am also from all my heart devoted to the practice of Buddhist meditation and live in the countryside of Brandenburg in a spiritual community.

The best place to dance for me is… when I feel safe and free from self-expectations, it could be everywhere, I like particularly to connect with forests. But after a long time not being able to reach dances studios I know that diving into a dance studio brings more depth to my movement researches and physicality, and share spaces with people is even better.

A key moment in dancing for me was… in the festival d’Avignon with my dance school, we were coming as spectators but spontaneously all decided to perform and do instant composition in the streets, it was magical. Recently I felt an extraordinary strong happiness after the Jazzlab organised for the opening of the Made in Potsdam festival 2024 at fabrik Potsdam, we were 7 dancers, and many others artists, it was a complete multi-disciplinary playground that I never had the chance to dive into.

To my students I want to pass on… the joy of being in movement alone and with others, the way of transforming into dances our emotions and feelings, a more deep understanding of self and tools for self-regulation.

This is what I look forward to every year… see the evolution of each ones into its own processes, stories and emancipation through dance and movement.
