Contemporary for Teens (14+)

This dynamic class is about exploring the expressive possibilities of contemporary dance, refining technique and learning tricks and movements on the floor. Strength, flexibility and control are developed and floorwork is explored through flowing movements that move from standing to floorwork. Great emphasis is placed on technique by teaching the fundamentals of contemporary dance. Improvisation will not be neglected, freeing creativity through movement. At the end, what we have learnt together flows into a choreography.
