Maxim Pritula (Berlin/Odessa)

The Ukrainian folk-rock singer and songwriter came to Germany with part of his family in 2003. He grew up listening to records by Russian singer-songwriters such as Alexander Rosenbaum and Alexander Dolsky.  Since the war in his Ukrainian homeland, he has only written in German as a protest and political statement. His earlier works remain and he continues to perform his old songs in Russian at stage shows.
