Beyond the Mist

For one night and one day, the intimate interior of the Alte Neuendorf church will become an experimental space for dancers Anita Twarowska and Murillo Basso, video artist Oscar Loeser, and sound artist Nicolas Schulze. In the quiet atmosphere of the church's circular architecture and vaulted ceiling, the artists explore a "break" in the everyday pace of life. It makes other experiences of time and space tangible. It creates new paths. The image of crossing a bridge together through a thicket of fog serves as the starting point for an immersive and reverberating experience. This creates a special space of community, interactivity, and sensuality in which perception is sharpened and different forms of togetherness – with oneself, with others, and with the place – can be explored.
