Spuren/Traces combines contemporary dance and Art du Déplacement (Parkour) with the art of walking. Visitors are invited to join performative forays through Sanssouci Palace Park and across Friendship Island. They can either watch the action or actively participate. A moving dialogue is created between the place and the bodies acting in it.
In cooperation with the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation as part of the theme year ‘Climate change in the green world heritage’: The exhibition ‘Re:Generation. Climate change in the green world heritage - and what we can do’ in Sanssouci Park until the end of October sheds light on how historic gardens can be preserved and sustainably designed in the face of climate change. The exhibition and accompanying programme also inspire visitors to get involved.
