What memories live in our bodies? What gestures are passed down through generations? And what happens when someone unexpected enters our path? The Cornerstone follows Laura Gary through a sculptural installation — a path of light, metallic spine-like structures, wool, fabrics, and everyday objects. Movement becomes ritual, a search for traces.
The body feels its way forward, slowly, listening. Every gesture carries history – family echoes and personal memories. Music appears in the middle of the path. For a fleeting moment, sound and body meet – spontaneous, fragile, open. Then the journey continues, transformed. This performance invites us to aks the question: what are we really moving towards – letting go, arrival, or the journey itself?
After the performance: talk with the artist
