Shard paints a poetic picture of the inner landscape following a traumatic event and brings to light what often defies description.

Trauma never affects just the individual; it also alters relationships and the community. Between closeness and distance, powerlessness and care, Shard asks: How do we respond to the pain of others? Is genuine empathy possible – and what does support mean when words are not enough? Ceren Oran’s choreography invites us to view vulnerability not as a weakness but as a starting point for connection.
