Yoann Bourgeois (Grenoble)

05 – 07 Aug 2020 | Potsdamer Tanztage 2020Open air performance

A weightless game is created through falling, climbing, tumbling, and walking. As if wound back and forth, climbing the stairs seems to be delayed. Light as a feather, the movement unites with poetic moments in the music. The dancer, acrobat, and choreographer Yoann Bourgeois, who was part of Maguy Marin's company for many years, combines artistry and dance into a performance that is part of the series of short circus pieces based on the music of Philip Glass Metamorphosis n°2Fugue / Trampoline has established itself as one of the most important acts in the world of trampoline. A symbolic balancing act of life with falls, cheers, and the charm simplicity.
