The Wuppertal Dance Theatre ensemble creates a sensual and visually breath-taking homage to one of the most important choreographers of her time in excerpts from famous works by Pina Bausch and interviews with the dancers. It is a homage to Pina Bausch, told by the ensemble of the Wuppertal Dance Theatre - directly from the stage, out into the surrounding districts of Wuppertal. Excerpts from four works, Le sacre du printemps, Café Müller, Kontakthof and Vollmond, are interwoven with interviews and other choreographies by the dancers. The film takes the audience on a sensual, visually impressive journey into a new dimension of dance.
