This film focuses on the choreographies by the revolutionary artist Merce Cunningham, created on the occasion of his 100th birthday in 2019. The documentary film tells the story of his development from 1944 to 1972 in New York, characterised by his willingness to take risks and innovative ideas. Above all, it is the newly danced pieces from his early years that immerse film and audience into a common dance of images.
