Grandeur Nature

Grandeur nature is an installation for bodies, images and landscape. A projection screen under construction. A performative installation in life-size. In it, Martine Pisani and Oscar Loeser continue their exploration of the theme of landscape, following on from the film as far as the eye can hear, the film (2014).
A technician arrives to build the construction required for the projection of the image. Plastic sheets become screens, wooden slats become poles, and the movement in the film meets stage action, although it is not clear who is moving whom. Both media merge into a mobile Gesamtkunstwerk. What holds the connection between nature and man? A human being whose gestures are measured by the sublimity of the landscape and the images. And vice versa.
Martine Pisani has been working as an artist and choreographer for over 20 years and is closely associated with the fabrik Potsdam. Her latest piece UNDATED was a guest at the Potsdam Dance Days 2018.
