The pieces FUR and Turning Solo 2 invite the audience to a timeless experience of closeness and contemplation.
FUR is an encounter with the Japanese dancer Aya Toraiwa and her hair, which reaches her knees. The hair covers and clothes, becomes a shelter and a prosthesis. The fragile material around the body reveals what seems hidden and acts as a transition between the inner and outer worlds.
"Turning Solo 2 is an extension of the solo performance of the same title. It brings together two interpretations, two worlds, two singular portraits in a single time slot: I had long dreamed of this. Naïma and Jasmin are so different, yet the common action of whirling and running on the same score opens up a common ground with many overlaps of resonances and experiences. Parallelisms of contrasting colour." (Isabelle Schad)
Afterwards on 13 November 21:30, Kala Brisella (admission free of charge).
