| Open air performance
The performance consisting of dance, sound and video installation opens up new perspectives on the region of Lusatia. It is intended to be an occasion for a new examination of one's own feelings and thoughts about Lusatia as a homeland, as well as to stimulate reflection on its history and current changes. Folk songs and sounds of Lusatia, newly interpreted by the composer Konrad Jende, will be arranged into soundscapes, while six dancers from the dance company golde g. perform at the same time. Based on the music and in interaction with the choreography, moving images by Alexander Janetzko projected onto the wall of the building accompany the performance.
The performance will take place open air in Potsdam-Schlaatz.

The programme is produced in cooperation with Pro Potsdam, Bürgerhaus am Schlaatz, fabrik Potsdam and Brandenburgisches Landesmuseum für moderne Kunst | Dieselkraftwerk Cottbus and is supported by Bureau Ritter/TANZPAKT RECONNECT, funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media as part of the NEUSTART KULTUR initiative, the State of Brandenburg, the City of Potsdam and the City of Cottbus.
