In The Lost Pieces, Thiago Granato and Sylvain Huc meet on stage for the first time. They perform in the middle of an intimate audience arena, a duet that creates a close experience using proximity and attention in a ritualistic dramaturgy driven by interruptions, ruptures and repairs. With metronomic precision, they move through different rhythms, bodily states and events, immersing themselves in a world seemingly forgotten by time. The Lost Pieces invites the audience into a relationship with the textures, sounds, structures, and other invisible qualities that make up the chemistry of a sensitive encounter between bodies. Thiago Granato and Sylvain Huc visited the fabrik Potsdam as artists in residence as part of Étape Dance or as choreographers at the Potsdamer Tanztage. They are now returning with a choreographic study that will culminate in a group piece with the premiere at Montpellier Danse Festival in 2024.
