We would like to celebrate with you: 30 years Jam in Potsdam!
We want to dance together and celebrate Contact Improvisation in the fabrik Potsdam. We have invited teachers from different generations who have helped shape the history of the Potsdam Jam. This can be an inspiration for change in the present and future. How do we want to shape our Jam culture?
That and more surprises are waiting for you!
Of course again with a special family program, including Contact Impro for big and small with Heike Kuhlmann, Parkour, Bodypainting, etc. Also lots of dancing, jamming,
Swimming and delicious food!
Teachers: Florian Busch, Jess Curtis, Gesine Daniels, Nadja El Eid, Angela Mara Florant, Marielle Gerke, Markus Hoft, Bernd Knappe, Heike Kuhlmann, Asher Levin, Stephanie Maher, Christine Mauch, Thomas Schall, and many more.
Traditionally on the Pentecost weekend, the 4-day Potsdam Jam offers a broad program around contact improvisation: workshops, guided jams with live music, outdoor scores, bodywork, exchange and encounters. A total of 11 classes offer suggestions for beginners or experienced dancers, adults or children - everyone is welcome to share the knowledge and enthusiasm of contact improvisation at the Pentecost Jam. We dive into the history of CI and show how people jam on other continents! For families there is a separate family sleeping space in the same building as the jam and a children's program with class/family jam. Full board and accommodation are included. International guest teachers start the daily jam sessions with one-hour mini classes and lead through the day.
Registration starts on Feb 3rd, 2020.
