With a vibrant season opening, international guest performances and festivals, fabrik Potsdam launches into the 2025/26 season! At the heart of the programme – as always – is dance: as a universal language, a form of physical expression, a space of memory, and a place of encounter.
The opening weekend on 19 and 20 September celebrates dance in all its facets – as an expression of community, movement, and transformation. With the participatory premiere HAMONIM by Patricia Carolin Mai, the performances ÜberBrücken, Bin Landschaft and Entre Deux in public spaces, concerts, and open studios, the Freundschaftsinsel, the Schiffbauergasse and the fabrik stage become vibrant meeting places for dance lovers and curious passers-by alike. Many events are free of charge and invite audiences to experience performances in unexpected places: on a bridge, in a park, on a ping-pong table, in the dance studios or on the fabrik stage…
