Project Coordination and Production Management Staff Member (m/f/d)
Starting in January 2026, fabrik Potsdam is seeking a staff member for the preparation, implementation, and follow-up of program components and event formats, particularly for production and guest performance coordination, event support, space, personnel and logistics management, as well as general program coordination.
Main Responsibilities and Areas of Work include:

Assisting with logistical planning and implementation of various event formats in the ongoing program and at festivals

Independent and comprehensive logistical coordination of artistic formats, particularly residencies, rehearsals, and guest performances

Pre-event communication with artists, the technical team, and management
-
Coordination of schedules and room planning, communication with hotels, organization of accommodations, and post-event follow-up
-
Coordination and planning of arrivals and departures, including travel bookings and travel expense management
-
Preparation of artist contracts and post-event processing, including receipt verification
-
Supplementary budget control
- Event supervision, evening shifts
Requirements

Supporting staff scheduling for event supervision
-
Support and coordination of third-party events and rentals
-
A completed (university or applied sciences) degree in cultural or event management, or equivalent qualifications and/or experience

Experience in event management and in planning and implementing comparable projects, preferably in the field of contemporary dance and performance
-
Ability to remain organized and focused even under high workload

Ideally, knowledge of the German and/or international contemporary dance scene(s)

Preferably experience with public funding administration

Excellent knowledge of MS Office and relevant planning software

Strong communication skills and a confident, friendly manner when interacting with artists, guests, partners, and colleagues

Openness, eagerness to learn, self-reliance, and enthusiasm for teamwork

A high degree of empathy and understanding for artistic practices and processes

Excellent written and spoken German and English; knowledge of an additional foreign language is desirable

A Class B driver’s license is desirable
